PACKAGED REFRIGERATION SYSTEM AND EQUIPMENT

PLAAS INC is a licensed Minnesota High-Pressure Piping (HPP) contractor. 

Steam is a very efficient and easily controlled heat transfer medium. PLAAS INC offers steam piping experience with more than 25 Minnesota High-Pressure Piping licensed journeymen. Prior to working with high-pressure piping systems (steam, condensate, bioprocess piping and ammonia) in Minnesota, the state requires contractors to have a master HPP license and licensed journeyman, which PLAAS INC is certified in.

Minnesota high-pressure piping is defined as:  

• Steam and condensate piping operating at 15 PSI or more. 
• Ammonia (717) refrigeration piping systems
• Bioprocess and any heating media piping system designed to operate at greater than 250°F and 30 PSI combined.
• High-pressure and high-temperature fluids designed to operate at more than 250°F and 30 PSI gauge used for heating

DOT PIPING

To ensure safe, reliable, and environmentally sound work, PLAAS INC strictly adheres to the U.S. Department of Transportation’s (DOT) Qualification of Pipeline Personnel Regulation and complies with the Office of Pipeline Safety of the U.S. Department of Transportation’s (DOT) Qualification of Pipeline Personnel Regulations (49 CFR Part 192 Subpart N and Part 195 Subpart G).

Our designers work with our customer’s architects and contractors to develop efficient and economical solutions using both old and new plumbing techniques.
